Born in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands and raised in Brooklyn, Heather is an artist and an educator currently pursuing an MFA at The School of Visual Arts in New York.  She has exhibited at various galleries including the Dorsey Art Gallery. In her owned word, “My work is an investigation into social identity and what it means to expand beyond the limits placed either by society or even myself.  I seek to include the power of quiet as part of that identity in order to expand upon and include all aspects of what it means to be human by using a multi-disciplinary approach.”
