Jide Ojo

Nigerian born artist Ojo arrived in New York City in October 1972 with the goal to continue his Art Education.  He obtained a Bachelor degree of Fine Arts and a Master degree of Communications Design while working as a security guard, a messenger, and a dishwasher in New York City.  While completing his masters, he won a scholarship to continue his education.  Ojo earned a doctoral degree from Columbia University, NY in July 1984.  He retired after teaching for 27 years in The New York City Public School System. Ojo is represented in private collections in Nigeria and the United States.
