Al Johnson

Illustrator, fine artist painter, educator and mentor. Johnson has exhibited internationally from the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum in Japan to Guangzhou International Art Fair in China to exhibitions in New York City. Johnson created the original renderings of the Georgia Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the world. Mr. Johnson created a 5 x 7 feet oil on canvas commissioned portrait of Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm installed permanently at Brooklyn Borough Hall. Mr. Johnson’s original painting “The Arrivals” was presented at the Council of the Democratic National Conference to First Lady Mrs. Obama. As a sought-after storyboard artist Mr. Johnson continues to communicate the Director’s voice in the commercial and feature film industry. Mr. Johnson accomplished a residency in France and a one-man exhibition at La Maison des Arts Gallery, Port-Barcares, France.
